Trust me, I'm a Pointer.
I am Lottie the English Pointer – an avid mountain climber (and aspiring author about my adventures) - who raises money for charities.
I live in Sussex with my family: baby sister Darcey (a Large Munsterlander), two Maine Coon cats, Audrey and George, and three llamas.
A couple of years ago I had the idea of helping some very worthy charities by challenging myself, with a little help from the Ginger-Haired person who lives with us (I like to call him the GHP) to climb as high as Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain. The charities were Back Up, the Down’s Syndrome Association, Hospice in the Weald and Motor Neurone Disease Association. You will find information about each of them and the excellent work they do on this website.
I have now written a book to share my adventures during the challenge and to raise further funds for the charities. The book, Lottie And The Ascent Of Everest, tells the story of those adventures and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did the challenge itself.
Phil Packer MBE, Founder of The British Inspiration Trust kindly agreed to write the foreword for my book. He has first hand experience of charities as, after sustaining his spinal cord injury, Back Up (one of the charities I support) was integral in rebuilding his confidence and independence and also improving his wheelchair skills. He has since participated in a number of physical challenges for charitable causes.
The RRP of the book is £9.99 of which the majority goes straight to the four charities I am supporting. If you would like to buy a copy, please contact me at lottie@lottiethepointer.com or use the payment gateway below.

There are a lot of people I have to thank for helping me with my book and this website:
As well as a number of kind individuals and organisations who helped sponsor some of the printing costs so that the maximum amount possible from the book could go to the charities.
